To Remove or Cover up?? 👇 You can not cover a cranberry juice stain with spaghetti sauce. The spaghetti spaghetti sauce is thick enough to cover the stain, however it will only be worse later on. Microblading and powder brows are the same. In order to get a crisp clean look, we want a blank canvas. Do you know why I require a touch up appointment? ‼️No, it’s not to take your money… At the touch up appointment, we will re-map everything and redo everything that needs to be retouched. When the pigment rises to the surface we want to pack it back in lightly but just enough to ensure the longevity of your brows! If it’s a money thing, put it this way, $150 now or $450-550 later to completely redo them..😭😩

Things I wish I knew before my microblading session: • It's not a one-time procedure...(this is the final session(2) of your client who didn’t have any hair). • It's not completely painless, for everyone. • Research your artist. • Follow aftercare instructions closely… • Results may vary, but be patient. • Don't overpluck before the procedure. • It's important to communicate with your artist. • It's not just for sparse brows. Let's debunk the controversy! I get asked a lot if microblading is a tattoo. Traditional tattooing uses needles on a rotary coil machine to push ink seven layers deep into the skin, microblading uses a manual blade and only targets three layers of skin. Because the pigment sits so superficially in the skin, the strokes are sharp, crisp, and they mimic the look of real hair! The Microblading pigments Leora Lash and Brows use are all organic and will not change color as they lose saturation over time. As microblading ink slowly fades it does get lighter, but the tone stays the same. Microblading pigment is specifically designed to fade into a lighter version of the color used so our clients retain a natural appearance until it fully fades away. These brows have been through it. I first did my beautiful mothers brows as my first ever microblading model. I was so nervous and second guessing everything when I finished them. About two weeks after I took another course, because I knew I lacked so much information in the first course. THAT training and mentorship changed everything for me! I was taught so much and I felt confident because I had the knowledge. From there, I took another two trainings because I believe knowledge is key and we should always be striving for more. I sent my mother to receive a tattoo removal of her brows with @lagunalaser. They took great care of her and I was able to redo my mothers brows confidently in my own training program with one of my students. 🛑 Educational post 🛑 Recently, I had a new client come to me that was a foreign fill. Foreign fills are like a box of chocolates, I never know what I’m going to see, other than an initial picture sent. Communication is 🔑 in all things. She started off with “I like how full they are on the first day, but I can never wash them because they will all fall out”. And “the lash girl mentioned it was her glue”. I informed her that poor retention is definitely not normal nor acceptable. She should be having great retention if applied correctly. It isn’t the “glues fault”. When the extension is properly wrapped around the natural lash, it creates a bond that is fully sealed. If the extension is placed on top of the natural lash, this can create pockets of air and is more likely to pop off prematurely. You should still look like you have great lashes when you come for your fill, just not as full as when you last came. Controversial post… I have a soft spot for bullying. I grew up feeling never enough and like I didn’t fit in. Then it only got worse in high school because.. well, people are mean. So when a local mama reached out to me saying what horrible things her daughter were going through, I had to at least try to make a positive impact. I spoke with the mother saying that I am not in favor of microblading underage. She agreed however we set up a consultation to seek other options. After further discussion with the client and her mother, we agreed on going very very light and unnoticeable. The bonus about Microblading is that it will fade between 1 to 4 years depending on your skins rate and ability to heal. We knew that because she was younger. She would be outside with her friends under the sun in the pool and doing everything a child should do. And with that her brows should fade rather quickly if she did not like it. Hate me if you want, but I feel right in my soul with helping her to feel more confident with her natural beauty! She is the sweetest soul💖 Disclaimer: Her mother searched out other options before consulting with me, and we took all the precautions needed. Her eyes are red because she had tears of joy🥹❤️

I love a good deal as much as anyone🛍️ But cheaper isn’t always better when it comes to your face.. In Hashimoto's disease, immune-system cells lead to the death of the thyroid's hormone-producing cells. Why a foreign touch up is never just a “touch up”👇 Have you ever tried to recreate something that someone else once did? Or maybe you notice things that need to be changed? When you come to me with prior work, We start the appointment just as if you have never had them done before. We clean, map and style them. We do all the prep work so that we can perfect everything that may have been missed by the prior artist or anything that has faded. Then we start the process; Only this time I am trying to correct the old stain. Imaging having a white T-shirt with a stain on it. I can only correct the stain if we go with a darker stain to mask the old. Make sense??

I cannot expressed the love I have for this client enough. She had called me on my way to the store with my kids. She had simply asked what I charge for lashes. I could’ve just given her a price. 📣Now read CAREFULLY! 🎤 You SHOULD wash your fresh brows everyday after you get them Microbladed. Truth be told, we are cutting into your face creating micro pigment slits. I want you to heal properly with Zero infections, while holding as much pigment as possible. In order to do so CLEAN THOSE BROWS with our aftercare soap provided!! 1. With clean fingers, use one pump of foam to gentle wash (outside of shower, and only in the direction of hair growth) morning and night for 10 days post brow appointment! 2. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. 3. Pat dry with clean towel. 4. Apply after care ointment.

These brows.. they were resilient. My client came to me with pink brows. She loved the shape but not the color and she wanted more hair stokes. In order to achieve that look, we needed to cancel out the pink first. While doing so, her skin gave a little push back so we decided to only do what they can handle until they heal.
